When most people look at a piece of art they first decide if it looks like something. If it doesn't they are unimpressed because "anyone can make abstract art." That's not true. Abstract art is emotion in physical form and it take a lot of talent to express an emotion to people that have never felt like that before.

Final Project
For the end of the semester we had to do a final project. I decided to do a half portrait based on a nightmare. The background is talking about nightmares and what they are. The writing on top is done in charcoal and says "Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep, and if I die before I wake I pray the Lord my soul to take."
The portrait was done using charcoal.
I am so proud of this piece, it is my master piece. It will be framed and hung with pride.

Sketchbook Assignments
These are my art book assignments, they don't take very long to complete but I really love each one!
This one was supposed to have the same object drawn several times with your eyes closed. I then added some charcoal and pencil crayon to make it more appealing.
This was one of my choice. It was done with paint and the writing is white dipping ink.
This was a water color piece that I added charcoal to.
Music sheets, ink, charcoal.
Pastels.
This piece represents my love for music. The heartbeat is on top of music sheets.
Music sheets, paint.

Taylor Swift, of Course
In my Art 10 class we had to draw a portrait of someone. Of course I decided to do Taylor Swift!! I did the portrait in charcoal and the background in ink. The finished product looks nothing like her but I still love it. I've actually never done a portrait before and so this was a huge accomplishment.
This is what I went off of.
